At Sunshine Primary, staff are given a fourth hour of APT that is dedicated to special project. Staff develop action research questions based on data from multiple sources of feedback.
We are fortunate enough to work with Jeni Wilson for our inquiry planning and twice a year for fourth hour projects. This term, myself and my 5/6 colleague, Lauren Barge are working with Jeni to develop questioning skills and strategies in our students. We worked on the project over a 4-week period.
First, we had a meeting to discuss our expectations, ideas and make a plan for a team teaching lesson in Lauren's classroom the following week. We covered a lot of ideas.
